Stepping into the Salon 7th Avenue, one can’t help but notice the welcoming nature of the place. Elegant yet cozy, substantial yet relaxed, the place brims with bliss. The spatial configuration stacks the activities requiring more privacy away from the frequented movements.

The proposal for a dyeing and finishing factory in Vishakapatnam, India posed the challenge of having to create a unique design while responding to the environment and landscape of an industrial zone in a foreign country.

The project was a renovation where the client wanted to develop an extension to expand his workshop inclusive of office spaces, as the existing building was of several floors, the challenge was to develop the new building as a part of the existing structure.

Located in the suburbs of Colombo, this low rise green apartment is situated in Battaramulla. The project sit on a strikingly narrow site challenging the architectural vision it possess. The ground floor is dedicated to the parking for its residents and services of the building. On the other hand, the first floor at its entirety is designed as a 3 bedroom house to accommodate the client and his family.

Situated in the scenic up country town of Nuwara Eliya, the site provided the most picturesque backdrop for this apartment building. Nestled away from the busy town area, this tranquil site challenged the architect to design a habitable structure without hindrance to the vistas of the landscape in the surrounding. The structure also needed to respond to the sloping terrain while making the most use of the surrounding views.
