The project was a renovation where the client wanted to develop an extension to expand his workshop inclusive of office spaces, as the existing building was of several floors, the challenge was to develop the new building as a part of the existing structure. The architect had to expand his creativity not merely to design a new office space, but also to implement a method in which the new building marries with the existing architectural language. Though the function may require a series of static fall of spaces, it was quite challenging to create the hierarchy of spaces while maintaining egibility of each individual space.
The client was also eager in getting his own apartment designed above the workshop. Therefore, the zoning of the project was completed with utmost care separately providing spaces for each sector that uses the building. The building façade was touched with a screening adding a temperament and a lively pace to the building to break the monotony of the built structure.
